Margaret Severin-Hansen began her training at the Huntington School of Ballet on Long Island, NY. She was accepted into The School of American Ballet and trained there until joining as an apprentice with Carolina Ballet in the inaugural season (1998) and made a Principal in 2002. Ms. Severin-Hansen trained with the Royal Danish Ballet for six weeks in 1997 and danced with The Royal Ballet of Flanders in 2013. At Carolina Ballet, Ms. Severin-Hansen has had many ballets created on her and has danced the majority of the ballets in the repertoire. She has repeatedly been singled out for her artistry and technical merit. In January of 2009, Ms. Severin-Hansen was one of eight graduates of the School of American Ballet personally invited by Peter Martins to perform with New York City Ballet dancers in the 75th Anniversary Celebration of the school. In addition to being a Principal at Carolina Ballet, Ms. Severin-Hansen is the Director of the Ruth S. Shur Summer Intensive and Co-Chairman of the School of Carolina Ballet. She is also a founding member of the SAB Alumni Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion as well as Assistant Director at Triangle Academy of Dance in Cary, NC.

Carson Ford (Soloist/ Substitute Teacher) has danced in Reno, Nev. for over 10 years. He started studying all types of dance at In Motion Studio of Dance in 2009, under the direction of Jennifer August. In 2013, he began studying dance at Heart and Sole Dance Academy, under the direction of Jenny Buck. While there he became more interested in studying ballet, under the direction of Seth Parker. From 2013-18, he began professionally dancing in various ballet productions with companies in Reno, such as The Reno Dance Company, and AVA Ballet; where he danced lead roles in The Nutcracker Ballet and Peter Pan. During that time he also attended several ballet summer intensives on scholarship with The San Jose Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
She moved to Nevada in 2006. Gina met Rosine Bena when her daughter, Lily, began to study ballet and immediately became attracted to the arts educational outreach that SNB does. Gina volunteered to help coordinate the outreach program in the public schools in Carson City, Nev., and soon after joined the SNB Board in 2013. Gina now officially acts as the SNB Educational Outreach Coordinator for Carson City.

Deise Mendonça, from Brazil, was a Principal Dancer with The Bolshoi Company in Brazil, and performed with Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, Ballet Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, and Ballet de Santiago in Chile. Deise joined State Street Ballet in 2013, and has performed the Principal roles The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland. Deise was a semi-finalist on "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2014, and has been a principal guest artist in the US and abroad, including an invitation in 2020 to perform principal roles with Ballet Nacional del Sodre in Uruguay. Deise is accomplished in classical ballet, neoclassical, contemporary and Latin styles.
